For the toffee sauce
* 110g/4oz butter * 55g/2oz brown sugar * 4 tbsp double cream * 1 banana, sliced
For the waffles
* 2 waffles
* 120ml/4fl oz double cream, lightly whipped
Directions
*~ For the toffee sauce - place all the ingredients in a pan, heat gently until
all the ingredients have melted.
*~ Add the banana slices and simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce has thickened slightly.
*~ Toast the waffles and serve the banana and toffee sauce on top with a dollop of cream.
